431 Kusweg · The terrace and the table
The ground-floor home, built around a terrace. Three bedrooms, six people, and the big covered terrace facing the dune and the sea.
The bottom unit
The terrace is the reason to book this unit. It is covered, it is large, and it faces straight onto the dune with the sea just beyond the walkway — the sort of space where lunch starts at one and nobody has moved by five.
Inside, the living area looks out at the sea, the kitchen can feed a crowd, and one bedroom is set up for the children. This is the half of the house that suits families.
Sleeping arrangements
Maximum occupancy is 6. If you need a cot or a high chair, ask when you enquire.

The other half
2 bedrooms, sleeps 5, the sea views and the garage. If you are more than six, or two families travelling together, take both. The whole house sleeps 11 for R14 500 a night — R1 500 less than booking the two units separately — and it is the only way to have the building to yourselves: the view and the garage upstairs, the terrace downstairs, and two kitchens so nobody is queueing for the hob.
